Job summary

JLL is seeking an Associate Project Manager specializing in data centers to support delivery of mission-critical infrastructure. You will assist with day-to-day project coordination, documentation, and client communications under guidance from senior project managers.

You will gain hands-on experience with MEP systems, critical facilities, and 24/7 operations while developing your project management career in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, or related field.
• 2-5 years of project coordination or construction administration experience, data center preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and reading drawings/specifications.
• Willingness to learn complex technical systems and document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data center construction activities, track deliverables, manage schedules, and facilitate team communications.
• Maintain project documentation: meeting minutes, logs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, progress reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, distribute materials, and track action items.
• Assist with document control to keep drawings and specs current.
• Support schedule development and monitor milestones using scheduling software.
• Help track budgets, invoices, cost reports, and forecasts; coordinate POs and payments.
• Attend site walks, observe critical systems, and assist with commissioning coordination.
• Support client presentations, status reports, and executive updates.
• Ensure safety, codes, and data center standards compliance; help with QA/QC.
• Develop tech knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and network infrastructure.
