Job summary

nVent is seeking a technically minded professional to serve as a domain authority for Smart Power Solutions. You will partner with customers, sales, and engineering to translate real-world challenges into practical data center solutions.

The role involves providing first-line product support, evaluating RFIs/RFQs, and delivering pre/post sales technical assistance. Travel will be 30-50% across the US and Canada, with remote work supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering or equivalent work experience in the Data Center power industry.
• Ability to work 100% remotely and travel 30-50% across US/Canada; valid driver's license.
• Strong understanding of Air and Liquid Cooling Solutions in Data Center space.
• Understanding of Data Center Power Architecture from UPS to rack/equipment level.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain authority for nVent Smart Power Solutions across Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues.
• Evaluate RFIs and RFQs as requested by customers.
• Provide technical application assistance for pre/post sales for Smart Power Solutions.
• Lead strategic accounts from a support perspective and plan activities with the Sales Leader.
