nVent seeks a technical lead for Smart Power Solutions to partner with customers, sales, and engineering, turning challenges into practical data center solutions. You will be a domain authority providing first-line product support and pre/post sales technical assistance to ensure successful deployments.

The role emphasizes remote work with 30-50% travel across the US and Canada; strong background in data center power, cooling, and equipment architecture will help you excel in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or applications engineering or equivalent work experience in the Data Center power industry.
• 5+ years in a technical applications role supporting Data Center power solutions preferred.
• Ability to work 100% remotely and travel 30-50% across US & Canada.

Responsibilities

• Serve as domain authority for nVent Smart Power Solutions across Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc.
• Provide first-line product support to customers and colleagues.
• Evaluate RFIs/RFQs as requested by customers.
• Provide technical application assistance for pre/post sales for Smart Power Solutions.
• Lead strategic accounts from a support perspective and assist with VOC visits.
