Job summary

Ericsson Inc. seeks a Data Center Optical Engineer to lead installation, maintenance, and operation of optical transport in customer data centers and co-locations.

You will ensure high-quality execution across installations, migrations, remediation, and remote hands services while interfacing with customers and vendors. Qualifications

• 3–15 years of experience in data center operations or similar technical environment with direct customer interaction.
• Strong hands-on experience with connectorized fiber optic cabling (single-mode & multi-mode).
• Experience with optical testing and transport troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of work performed at customer data centers and provide feedback to technicians.
• Interact with customers through ticketing tools or in person, delivering clear reports and updates.
• Assist with fiber installation, decommissioning, break/fix, remediation and migration activities.
