Job summary

Qualifications

• Seasoned data center op experience and customer-facing communication.
• Experience with fiber optic cabling (single/multi-mode) and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of optical testing and transport troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical docs and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of work at customer data centers and provide feedback to technicians.
• Interface with customers via ticketing tools and in person, delivering clear reports.
• Assist with fiber installation, decommissioning, break/fix and migrations across optical and transport environments.
• Conduct and supervise optical testing and troubleshooting with standard test equipment.
• Deliver services by interpreting and executing MoPs, engineering documents, vendor docs, and network diagrams.
• Read cut sheets and network designs to ensure correct port connections and cable management.
