Qualifications

• 3–15 years of experience in data center operations or similar technical environment with customer interaction.
• Strong hands-on experience with connectorized fiber optic cabling (single-mode & multi-mode).
• Experience with optical testing and transport troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and spoken English for customer-facing communications and reporting.
• Ability to travel to non-home market sites up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of work performed at customer data centers and provide feedback to technicians.
• Interact with customers via ticketing tools or in person, delivering clear reports and updates.
• Assist with fiber installation, decommissioning, break/fix, remediation and migrations across data center optical/transport environments.
• Conduct and/or supervise optical testing and troubleshooting using meters, sources, VFLs, OTDRs, and test sets.
• Deliver services by interpreting and executing MoPs, engineering docs, vendor docs, and network diagrams.
• Read cut sheets and network design docs to ensure correct port connections and cable management.
