Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Manager of Data Center Capacity Management to drive capacity planning across power, cooling, space, and infrastructure for our global data center footprint. You will own the capacity function and guide a growing team to optimize utilization and efficiency.

The role emphasizes using DCIM tools, auditing for SOC 2/SOX compliance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable capacity solutions while leveraging AI to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in critical environments with data center capacity/power management.
• Experience optimizing power utilization in data centers or critical infra.
• Hands-on, hands-on technical environment using technology to manage/grow environments.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Ability to influence across partners and suppliers.
• Knowledge of data center power, cooling, network, cabling, servers, storage.
• Familiarity with DCIM tools for capacity planning and inventory management.
• Knowledge of capacity planning best practices and metrics.
• Experience with SOC 2 and SOX compliance through physical audits.
• EOL planning and decommissioning experience.
• Strong spreadsheet and data modeling skills, including AI-based capacity modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead capacity planning across power, cooling, space and availability.
• Define and iterate infrastructure capacity requirements and reporting benchmarks.
• Conduct regular physical audits supporting SOC 2 and SOX compliance.
• Support project management with tracking, SLAs, and EOL planning.
• Lead a team of engineers as footprint grows.
• Apply AI to enhance decision-making and workflow efficiency.
