Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a detail-oriented Manager of Data Center Capacity Management to build and lead a team responsible for optimizing power, space, and infrastructure capacity across our global data center footprint. Reporting into a Senior Manager of Data Center Operations, this role owns the capacity function with a focus on power utilization optimization and audits.

This position requires 7+ years in critical environments and hands-on experience with DCIM software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in critical environments with data center capacity and power management.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing power utilization and capacity in data centers or similar environments.
• Experience in hands-on, technically advanced environments leveraging technology to manage and grow environments.
• Experience in personnel management and building a team.
• Experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams across partners and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, network, cabling, servers and storage infrastructure.
• Hands-on with DCIM software for capacity planning and inventory management.
• Knowledge of capacity planning best practices: asset management, metrics, capacity controls, and tools.
• Familiarity with rack/row/room level capacity assessment.
• Experience with SOC 2 and SOX compliance audits.
• EOL planning and decommissioning processes.
• Detail-oriented with advanced spreadsheet skills and ability to model with AI.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive capacity planning across power, cooling, space and availability.
• Define and implement capacity requirements and reporting benchmarks with data integrity across forecasting workflows.
• Own regular physical audits to support SOC 2 and SOX compliance.
• Provide project management support including SLAs and EOL planning.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers as the footprint expands.
• Apply AI technologies to improve decision-making and drive efficiency.
