Job summary

ABB is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to support national data center KAMs in developing field services proposals for critical power, automation, and related systems. The role emphasizes value‑added service solutions, 24/7 emergency service agreements, and collaboration with customers in data center environments.

The position reports to Sales Manager and is remote, within ABB's Electrification Services Division in the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in STEM or business required.
12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically.
Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
Experience with contract terms & conditions or execution.

Responsibilities

Formulate competitive bids, estimates and quotations considering product mix and technical/commercial aspects.
Ensure tenders are well-documented with full and accurate costs.
Lead and manage planning and preparation of technical, financial and project management aspects of bid/estimate/quotation, including prices and trading conditions.
Manage collection and archival of documentation regarding the offer/order and record assumptions/decisions; report bid status regularly.
