Job summary

ABB is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to provide national support to Data Center Key Account Managers in developing field service proposals for mission-critical data center infrastructure, including power delivery and automation systems.

The role requires a strong field service background in critical power systems and data center environments, with the work model noted as Remote. Domestic travel may be required as part of the position.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
• Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
• Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
• Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with best product mix and technical/commercial aspects.
• Ensure tenders are well-documented with full costs and detail.
• Lead planning and preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids and quotations.
• Manage documentation of offers/orders and record assumptions; report bid status regularly.
