Job summary

ABB is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to provide national support to Data Center Key Account Managers in developing field service proposals for data center infrastructure including power delivery, utilization, and automation systems.

This remote role requires a strong field service background in critical power systems and data center environments, with the ability to travel domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM or business.
• 12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically, as required.
• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
• Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
• Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
• Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with optimal product mix and commercial considerations.
• Ensuring tenders are well-documented with full costs.
• Leading and managing technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids and quotations.
• Managing documentation and recording decisions; reporting bid status regularly.
