Job summary

Enercon's Data Center Mission Critical Group seeks a Business Development Manager to lead client relationships, uncover opportunities, and shape strategic proposals with technical experts. This role can be based in any US office or remote from anywhere in the United States.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to forecast, develop client-focused business plans, and deliver compelling proposals. Travel 50-75% may be required to meet clients and support delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; engineering background preferred.
• Typically requires 6 years of relevant experience in engineering consulting, development, construction, or power utilities.
• 2 years of business development success with Data Center Mission Critical is required.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: main contact for assigned clients and feedback collection.
• Business Development & Marketing: identify new opportunities, craft client-specific plans, and support events.
• Sales & Forecasting: develop/update annual sales forecasts to meet goals.
• Proposal & Technical Collaboration: work with management and engineers to develop technical proposals.
