Thomson Power Systems is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to support the Data Center vertical. This remote role collaborates with product, engineering, and sales teams to shape go‑to‑market strategies and position TPS solutions for critical infrastructure markets nationwide.

You will conduct field research, gather customer requirements, and translate them into product specifications. Travel up to 40% for customer visits, site assessments, and industry events, while supporting channel

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years in technical, product, or applications engineering in electrical power systems.
• Knowledge of power distribution equipment like switchgear, ATS, modular power.
• Familiarity with UL/CSA/ANSI/IEEE/NEC/CEC standards in data center space.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and communicate with engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer visits and events.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Define product requirements and roadmap for the Data Center vertical.
• Conduct field research and customer interviews to identify needs.
• Translate insights into actionable specifications and business cases.
• Support customer engagements, technical discussions, and solution positioning.
• Develop GTM strategies, value propositions, and sales tools.
• Provide product training and technical support to sales teams and partners.
• Engage in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
• Collaborate with product mgmt, engineering, operations, marketing, and service for launches and lifecycle support.
