Regal Rexnord is seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer for the Data Center vertical to collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to shape product strategy and GTM approaches. The role emphasizes field engagement, customer interviews, and technical support for switchgear, ATS, modular power and engineered power management systems.

The position is remote (prefer East/Central USA) with up to 40% travel, supporting critical infrastructure markets like hospitals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5+ years in a technical, product, or applications engineering role within electrical power systems, critical power, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution equipment such as switchgear, ATS, paralleling systems, or modular power solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of switchgear and power distribution product standards (UL, CSA, ANSI, IEEE, NEC/CEC) within the Data Center space.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
• Comfortable travelling up to 40% for customer visits, site assessments, and industry events.
• Has access to key stakeholders in the purchasing decisions of switchgear.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements, enhancements, and long‑term roadmap priorities for the Data Center vertical.
• Conduct field research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify emerging needs in switchgear, ATS, modular power, and critical power distribution.
• Translate customer and market insights into actionable product specifications and business cases.
• Work directly with Data Center Business Development Managers to support customer engagements and technical discussions.
• Assist in developing GTM strategies, value propositions, and sales tools tailored to infrastructure applications.
• Provide product training, technical support, and application guidance to sales teams, channel partners, and end users.
• Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events to represent TPS’s product capabilities and gather real‑world feedback.
• Build strong relationships with consulting engineers, EPC firms, electrical contractors, integrators, and facility stakeholders.
• Support pre‑sales activities including solution scoping, application reviews, and technical presentations.
• Work with product management, engineering, operations, marketing, and service teams to ensure product alignment, launch readiness, and lifecycle support.
• Provide field insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Assist in developing documentation, training materials, and technical collateral.
