Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit to be honest and friendly, using data and technology to improve consumer finance. As an Analyst I on the Risk & Analytics team, you will learn consumer lending fundamentals while performing scoped analytical tasks and partnering with ML, product, engineering, and finance to optimize approvals, losses, and profitability.

You will derive insights, monitor portfolio health, and write scalable SQL and Python to support risk models.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of analytically-driven work experience in fintech or finance.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Foundational knowledge of data mining, visualization, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Derive insights to optimize product, risk, or growth strategies.
• Monitor portfolio health and flag risks with senior team.
