Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Dairy Technical Sales Specialist who will operate remotely within Central Wisconsin.

The role focuses on direct farmgate sales, nutrition management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and customer satisfaction. The candidate should hold an advanced degree in dairy science (Master’s, PhD preferred) and bring extensive field experience, with strong communication and training skills to support product launches and sales

Qualifications

Master’s degree with 10+ years field experience; PhD with 5-9 years preferred.
Dairy industry acumen and ability to work across diverse segments.
Strong technical knowledge of species nutritional requirements and health management.
Excellent communication, including technical writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

Engages in direct selling activities and support (80%): on-farm calls, nutrition management, and dealer collaboration to meet sales goals.
Collaborates with Marketing to translate product science for marketing materials and field staff.
Works with R&D to support new product launches and provide technical writing for reports.
