Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager for a remote, United States-based role. You will lead governance, risk, and compliance across NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and ISO 27001 while guiding AI governance and client advisory services.

You will collaborate with security operations, executives, and clients to strengthen programs, drive continuous compliance, and deliver strategic risk reporting across engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information technology, cybersecurity governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Proficient with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001; audit support.
• Experience with risk assessments, third-party risk, cyber insurance, and compliance automation.
• Strong client-facing communication and executive stakeholder advisory.
• Leadership experience in cybersecurity advisory or MSP/MSSP environments.
• Experience with security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, SIEM.
• Familiarity with CrowdStrike, Cisco Secure Connect, Azure, Okta.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Conduct gap assessments, crosswalks, and remediation tracking.
• Oversee Security Program Platform governance, risk, and compliance.
• Manage third-party risk, cyber insurance questionnaires, and due diligence.
• Provide vCISO advisory services and executive reporting.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging risks.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and remediation tracking.
• Deliver Cyber Posture Snapshots, health checks, and annual summaries.
• Lead client strategy meetings and escalate complex risks.
