Job summary

UpGuard is seeking an Account Manager to own renewal and expansion efforts within a high-performing SaaS portfolio. You’ll drive renewals, safeguard revenue, and partner with sales to identify upsell opportunities while staying informed on cyber security trends and client needs.

You’ll report to the Head of Account Management and collaborate across sales, customer success, and marketing to ensure client value and long-term retention, negotiating contracts for favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management or similar commercial role with SaaS renewals
• Solid understanding of the cyber security landscape, especially Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
• Proven contract and renewal negotiation ability
• Strategic thinking to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks
• Data-driven decision making with a focus on renewal metrics
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive account success
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to adopt them to improve workflows

Responsibilities

• Drive Renewals: own renewal process for key accounts
• Revenue Retention: safeguard existing revenue and address risks
• Revenue Expansion: identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities with sales teams
• Contract Negotiation: lead renewals and expansions with legal/finance
• Market Insights: stay informed on trends to advise clients
• Collaboration: align with sales, customer success, and marketing
• Reporting & Metrics: track renewal rates and account health with data
