Job summary

Spreetail is hiring a Trade Compliance Analyst to own import entry audits, strengthen customs compliance, and build scalable data tools. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and brokers to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant import operations across the board.

The role emphasizes data-driven process improvements, HTS accuracy, and cost savings through automation, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors.
• Experience with U.S. customs compliance including CBP Form 7501 and HTS classification.
• Experience working with customs brokers and PSCs to ensure importer of record compliance.
• Advanced spreadsheet/data analysis skills; ability to build reports, dashboards, automations.
• Excellent collaboration across teams to drive process improvements and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP docs, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance, and recover overpayments with Finance.
• Review HTS assignments, resolve classification discrepancies, and guide complex classification decisions.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and duty savings opportunities, building dashboards and automation.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and data integrity.
