Job summary

Spreetail is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to safeguard import operations, auditing entries, and strengthening customs processes on a global scale. You will collaborate with brokers, Finance, and cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, reduce overspend, and ensure compliant trade practices.

You will own audits, support HTS classification, and build scalable tools to enhance efficiency while aligning with Spreetail’s global logistics goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. customs compliance including CBP Form 7501 and HTS classification.
• Strong analytical skills to identify documentation and duty calculation errors and quantify financial impact.
• Experience working with customs brokers, PSCs, and importer of record requirements.
• Advanced spreadsheet/data analysis skills; experience with dashboards or automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across teams to improve compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end import entry audit process, reviewing CBP documentation and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Manage Post Summary Corrections (PSCs), validate duty payments, monitor broker performance and recover overpayments.
• Support customs classification accuracy by reviewing HTS assignments and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze import data to identify compliance risks and duty savings opportunities; develop dashboards and automation.
• Collaborate with Transportation, Finance, Merchandising, brokers, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and data integrity.
