Job summary

Giga Energy is seeking a Customs Declaration Logistics Specialist to own inbound customs declarations for all imports. The role involves preparing entries in the CBP ACE portal, reviewing invoices and bills of lading, and maintaining HTS classifications to ensure on-time, accurate filings.

You will manage and audit third-party brokers, coordinate with suppliers and carriers, and monitor duty spend. Strong communication and experience with ACE filings are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication with internal teams, vendors, and legal counsel.
• Ability to manage high shipment volumes with attention to deadlines.
• Experience filing and managing entries in ACE and resolving discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations for inbound shipments.
• Submit and track ACE entries, pull reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and create commercial invoices, packing lists, B/Ls, and broker filings.
• Determine and maintain HTS classifications for imported products.
• Manage and audit third-party customs brokers against entry records.
• Track duty and tariff spend and identify cost reductions.
• Monitor tariff and trade policy changes and flag impacts on imports.
• Keep audit-ready records for customs.
