Job summary

GHY is seeking a Customs Import Specialist to join our team in the United States. Reporting to the Client Care Manager, you will process shipment releases accurately and efficiently while delivering outstanding service across ocean, air, truck, and rail modes.

Responsibilities include reviewing entry packages, managing AES filings and ISF submissions, and coordinating with carriers and clients to meet tight deadlines. Prior brokerage experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Completion of Grade 12 Education.
Prior Brokerage Services/Logistics Experience Preferred.
Strong prioritization skills in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry folders and prioritize shipments by ETA for timely customs submission.
Process entries for ocean, air, truck, and rail shipments.
Handle in-bonds, AES filings, prior notices, manifests, and ISF submissions.
Review documentation to ensure complete entry packages before processing.
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and clients via phone and email.
Monitor entry dashboards and escalate issues to Production Manager.
Perform other duties as required.
