Job summary

CSG seeks a Customer Value Analyst to translate our Customer Engagement Platform strategy into measurable financial value for clients. You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Analytics, and client teams to design practical measurement approaches and to combine client and CSG data for defensible ROI estimates.

You will communicate insights in plain business language, create visuals, and drive ROI-focused playbooks for pre-sale and post-sale value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in customer-facing B2C roles such as customer operations, digital product, marketing, analytics, or related operations.
• Experience across digital channels and how journeys drive revenue, retention, and cost-to-serve.
• Direct involvement in ROI- and KPI-driven initiatives in high-volume or subscription environments.
• Hands-on data blending from multiple sources and using control groups or pre/post analyses to estimate impact.
• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) and at least one analytics language (SQL, Python, or R).
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for external stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and read/write/speak English in a business context.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to shape value narratives for opportunities before and after sale.
• Design measurement approaches for programs, using control vs. treatment groups and pre/post comparisons.
• Turn data into concise business readouts and develop visuals for stakeholders and clients.
• Influence cross-functional teams with clear logic and business storytelling to align priorities.
• Develop reusable value tools and playbooks to enable ROI conversations at scale.
• Provide SME on B2C operations, SaaS models, and financial drivers for product roadmaps and go-to-market messaging.
