Job summary

PolicyMe, a Toronto-based remote-first digital insurance company, is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to support customers through the life insurance journey and ensure an exceptional experience.

You will manage underwriting tasks, coordinate exams, and collaborate across Advisors, QA, Sales, and Support. This role suits someone with 1–2 years in insurance or customer service, who communicates clearly in English and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in insurance, customer service, or call center roles.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Comfortable using multiple systems and quick to learn new tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Empathy, patience, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of in-progress applications through underwriting.
• Coordinate medical exam bookings with vendors and clients.
• Handle inbound calls and respond to client emails.
• Track missed payments and update billing information.
• Report underwriting decisions to MIB and submit weekly reports.
• Collaborate with Advisors, QA, Sales, and Customer Service.
• Support the Advisor Team throughout the life insurance journey.
