Job summary

CS Automation in Ontario, NY is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist. This primarily remote role involves answering calls, quoting options, and coordinating orders while collaborating with production and outside sales to service customers.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer service and 1 year in wholesale distribution, with strong Excel and Outlook skills and a team-oriented mindset. Office presence is required one day per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year wholesale distribution experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer phone calls and respond to emails.
• Quote prices, availability and delivery options accurately.
• File order acknowledgments and vendor documents.
• Coordinate with production to schedule jobs and procure components.
• Enter orders into Prophet 21 (Epicor) ERP system.
• Provide timely follow-up to customers and manage high-potential accounts.
• Expedite product to fill sales and production orders when needed.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
