Job summary

CS Automation in Ontario, NY is seeking a full-time Customer Service Specialist to support customers, quote prices, and coordinate with production and outside sales. The role combines remote work with a weekly in-office presence and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

You will enter orders in Prophet 21 ERP, respond promptly to inquiries, and help manage high-potential accounts while upholding CS Automation’s quality standards. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to learn new information quickly.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer phone calls and respond to emails.
• Quote prices, availability and delivery options with high accuracy.
• File order acknowledgments, vendor acknowledgments, and quotes.
• Coordinate with production to schedule jobs and purchase components.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to service customer requests.
• Enter orders in Prophet 21 (Epicor) ERP system.
• Ensure timely customer follow-up and issue resolution.
• Generate returns (customer & vendor).
• Support large and high-potential accounts and expedites orders as needed.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers.
