Job summary

DIRECTV is hiring a Customer Service Representative focused on retention, delivering empathetic, consultative support to keep customers engaged with our services. This role is fully remote for candidates within the specified reach, with a need for a quiet home workspace and reliable internet.

You’ll handle calls, use multiple systems, and apply sales skills to recommend solutions while processing purchases and resolving technical issues. Expect standard working hours and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of customer service work experience.
• Familiarity with Windows computers.
• An ability to deliver regular and reliable attendance.
• A private or secluded work location within your residence.
• Reliable LAN or WLAN internet service with speeds of at least 18mbps download, 12mbps upload that can be dedicated to DIRECTV work.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and address all requests or inquiries concerning services and products, and report problem areas.
• Utilize various systems and tools to assist customers.
• Use sales expertise to make recommendations according to customer’s needs.
• Utilize operational systems to process purchases of all products and services.
• Use solid problem-solving skills to identify and solution customer’s technical issues.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to support our customers during working hours (M-F 5:55AM – 8:00PM, Sat/Sun 6:55AM – 8:00PM MST). Some holiday coverage and occasional overtime may be required.
