Job summary

DIRECTV is seeking a Customer Service Representative focused on retention who can work from home within 75 miles of a DIRECTV work center. You will engage with customers, resolve issues, and preserve ongoing service relationships while delivering empathetic, consultative support.

You’ll use multiple systems to assist customers, apply sales skills to fit needs, process purchases, and communicate clearly. The role requires reliable attendance and availability during set hours.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of customer service work experience.
• Familiarity with Windows computers.
• An ability to deliver regular and reliable attendance.
• A private or secluded work location within your residence.
• Reliable LAN or WLAN internet service with speeds of at least 18mbps download, 12mbps upload that can be dedicated to DIRECTV work.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and address all requests or inquiries concerning services and products, and report problem areas.
• Utilize various systems and tools to assist customers.
• Use sales expertise to make recommendations according to customer’s needs.
• Utilize operational systems to process purchases of all products and services.
• Use solid problem-solving skills to identify and solution customer’s technical issues.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
