Job summary

ProAg, a Tokio Marine HCC company, is hiring a remote Business Development Manager focused on South Dakota and Iowa. You will recruit crop insurance agents and grow profitable premium growth while collaborating with leadership to target high-potential producers across the eastern United States.

The role requires up to 70% travel, strong relationship skills, and a track record in sales. A Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred, with at least six years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant and progressive professional sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with crop insurance agents in SD or IA and recruit them to ProAg.
• Work with appointed agents to place more of their business with ProAg.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with agents through calls, networking, and events.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations to align go-to-market efforts.
