Job summary

ProAg is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to handle farm and ranch claims from a remote California base. You will conduct field inspections, read maps, measure fields, and collect production records, applying MPCI and Crop Hail policy guidelines in coordination with the Area Claims Supervisor.

Travel up to 75% is required across the San Joaquin Valley, with fieldwork that includes terrain and bin inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Crop insurance claims or compliance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform fact-finding to determine causes and percent loss.
• Inspect farms, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields.
• Collect production records and assess damage for MPCI, Crop Hail, and Named Peril policies.
• Communicate position to claimants and agents as needed.
• Travel regularly, often in field conditions, to service claims.
