Job summary

AgriSompo North America, part of Sompo International, is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI and Private Products claims. The role is remote-based in Indiana, with travel within a two-hour radius of the home office.

You will build relationships with policyholders and agents, assess damages, and ensure compliance with FCIC/state regulations. Ideal candidates have at least two years' experience in crop insurance claims or as adjusters, and possess a valid driver's license and CAPP

Qualifications

• Two years' experience handling crop insurance claims.
• Two years' experience as a crop insurance adjuster.
• Requires CAPP certification and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with policyholders, agents, and supervisors.
• Transmit loss information to determine potential damages per procedures.
• Perform field inspections and read maps/aerial imagery.
• Utilize company software for daily communications and records.
• Follow FCIC and state rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete required FCIC/state trainings and certifications.
• Explain adjusting procedures to policyholders and agents.
• Investigate crop damage and determine indemnities.
• Train field staff on claims procedures and compliance.
• Willingness to learn new crops.
