Job summary

Sompo International, via AgriSompo North America, is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI and Private Products claims from a remote base in Indiana. This role emphasizes field inspections, data review, and regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have 2 years of crop insurance claims experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours in a farm environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in crop insurance claims (preferred).
• ~2 years' experience as a crop insurance adjuster (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software proficiently including daily monitoring of all company communications.
• Follow FCIS, State, and Company rules and regulations, policies, and procedures for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certifications as required by FCIC and State Regulations.
• Train field claims staff on claim procedures, best practices, and compliance standards.
