Job summary

ProAg seeks a Crop Adjuster to conduct field inspections, read maps, measure fields, and collect production records to assess losses. You will work with policyholders on farms or ranches and stay with each claim until it is settled, with travel up to 75% across a Texas territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Crop insurance experience in claims or compliance or ag-related experience preferred.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer and internet applications.
• Communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
• CAPP certification and/or applicable licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and loss determinations.
• Work with policyholders to complete inspections and documentation.
• Read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins.
• Gather production records and assess damage or loss.
• Travel across a Texas territory up to 75% and stay with claims until settled.
