Job summary

Sompo International is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support the Upper Midwest MPCI and Private Products claims operations. The role is based remotely near Adrian, MN, with travel up to 50% to inspect fields and work with policyholders and agents.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of crop insurance regulations, strong customer service, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors. A high school diploma is required, with a Bachelor’s in agriculture preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2 years’ experience handling crop insurance claims.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s in agriculture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete field inspections and read maps and aerial imagery.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications daily.
• Follow FCIS, State, and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing FCIC/state training and certifications.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work outdoors in farm environments.
