AgriSompo North America, Inc. is hiring a Crop Insurance Adjuster for the Upper Midwest team, based remotely in North Dakota. The role covers MPCI, Private Products, and Named Peril claims, requiring field inspections, loss assessment, and close collaboration with supervisors and policyholders.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent), 2 years of claims experience (preferred), and a CAPP certification with a valid driver's license. Travel up to 50% may be needed.

Qualificações

• 2 years’ experience handling crop insurance claims (preferred).
• Required license and certification: CAPP certification and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination; Bachelor’s degree in agriculture preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine potential damages following FCIC, NCIS and Company procedures.
• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications.
• Follow FCIC, State, and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certifications as required by FCIC and State regulations.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding and investigate crop damage; transmit information to determine indemnities.
• Willingness to learn new crops.
