AgriSompo North America, part of Sompo International, seeks a Crop Insurance Adjuster to support MPCI, Private Products and Named Peril claims in the Upper Midwest. This remote role covers the Adrian, MN region with travel up to 50%.

You will build relationships with policyholders and agents, conduct field inspections, document losses, and follow FCIC and state regulations. A minimum of two years’ claims experience, CAPP certification, and a valid driver’s license are required; a Bachelor’s in

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture is preferred.
• CAPP certification and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required.
• 2 years’ experience handling crop insurance claims is preferred.
• Knowledge of FCIC, state regulations, and MPCI/Private Products is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine damages per FCIC/NCIS and company procedures.
• Complete field inspections, read maps, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications daily.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding and investigate crop damage to determine indemnities.
• Willingness to learn new crops and work collaboratively.
