Job summary

AgriSompo North America, Inc. is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to join our Upper Midwest team. The role is based remotely near Adrian, Minnesota, with responsibilities spanning MPCI, Private Products, and Named Peril claims operations.

You will build relationships with policyholders and supervisors, review loss data, and conduct field inspections while adhering to FCIC and state guidelines. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s in agriculture is preferred, with CAPP certification

Qualifications

• Ability to complete documentation requirements.
• License and certification: CAPP certification and valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in agriculture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with the Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine potential damages per FCIC, NCIS and Company procedures.
• Complete field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications.
• Follow FCIC, State and Company rules for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certifications as required by FCIC and State Regulations.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Perform fact-finding and investigate crop damage to determine indemnities.
• Willingness to learn new crops.
