Sompo International is seeking a Crop Insurance Adjuster to join our Upper Midwest team, supporting MPCI and Private Products claims. This remote role is based near Adrian, Minnesota, with up to 50% travel within a two-hour radius.

The position offers development, collaboration across teams, and a strong benefits package. Responsibilities include building client relationships, applying loss adjustment procedures, field inspections, and ongoing training to stay compliant with FCIC and state

Competenze

• 2 years' experience handling crop insurance claims.
• CAPP certification and valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in agriculture preferred.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain professional relationships with Area Claim Supervisor, policyholders, agents, and other adjusters.
• Record and transmit loss information to determine potential damages per FCIC/NCIS guidelines.
• Conduct field inspections, read maps and aerial imagery, measure fields and storage bins.
• Utilize company software and monitor communications.
• Follow FCIC/State regulations for MPCI and Private Products.
• Complete initial and ongoing training as required by FCIC and State regulations.
• Explain adjusting procedures and findings to policyholders and agents.
• Investigate crop damage and transmit information to determine indemnities.
• Willingness to learn new crops.
