Job summary

Somewhere is seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join our health and wellness ecommerce brand on a part-time basis (~20 hours per week). This remote role offers flexible timing with daily overlap to UK working hours to enable collaboration with global teams.

You’ll own the CRO roadmap, audit funnels, formulate hypotheses, run A/B and multivariate tests, and implement optimisations to improve CVR, AOV, and RPV across Shopify-based storefronts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated CRO, analytics, and UX testing for high-volume ecommerce/DTC brands.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus environments, including cart, PDPs, and checkout dynamics.
• Advanced proficiency in GA4, GTM, and session recording/heatmapping tools (Clarity, Hotjar).
• Demonstrated expertise with AB testing frameworks (VWO, Convert, AB Tasty, Optimizely, Intelligems).
• Strong data-driven mindset and ability to translate insights into hypotheses and tests.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to present to leadership.
• Availability to work ~20 hours per week with overlap with UK hours.

Responsibilities

• Audit funnels and analyze user behavior across landing pages, PDPs, cart, and checkout using GA4, Shopify Analytics, and heatmaps.
• Own CRO roadmap, prioritize tests, and define baseline metrics for experiments.
• Design, configure, and launch experiments across mobile and desktop using modern platforms.
• Collaborate on checkout, product page messaging, and onsite optimizations.
• Work with brand marketing, creative, and engineering teams to translate test wins into production builds.
• Track outcomes and present findings to leadership with clear learnings from tests.
