Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Credit Bureau Reporting & Corrections Analyst to handle electronic disputes, review inquiries, disputes and complaints, and provide timely responses. The role is remote from home with starting pay $30.32–$32.80 per hour, and requires knowledge of Metro 2 formats, FCRA, RESPA and CFPB regulations.

You will analyze records, correct reporting, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues while meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Metro 2 format is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit reporting disputes by analyzing records to industry standards (Metro 2) and Carrington policy.
• Respond to credit disputes via E-Oscar and submit corrections to bureaus.
• Determine if reporting corrections are warranted and modify as needed.
• Make loan updates ensuring proper notation in the system.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve inquiries and report trends to management.
• Research loan data and payment histories to ensure accurate dispute responses.
• Handle escalated credit reporting issues for internal units.
• Stay current with RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and CFPB regulations.
• Adhere to department and company policies.
