Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Credit Bureau Reporting & Corrections Analyst to handle electronic disputes, review inquiries, disputes, and complaints from borrowers or their representatives. You will research issues, provide timely responses, and ensure compliance with RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and CFPB regulations.

The starting pay is $30.32–$32.80 per hour. This role requires familiarity with credit reporting processes, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work remotely with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of related mortgage servicing, financial industry, and/or credit bureau disputes experience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit reporting disputes using Metro 2 format guidelines and Carrington policy.
• Respond to disputes via E-Oscar and submit corrections to bureaus.
• Determine when corrections are warranted and update records accordingly.
• Make loan updates in the system with proper notations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve inquiries and track trends for management.
• Research payment histories and loan data to verify dispute responses.
