Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator, Managed Care, Credentialing to ensure active credentialing/enrollment with contracted payors for all groups and providers, maintain licenses, and support payer enrollment activities. The role requires several years of credentialing experience and strong communication skills.

This is a country-wide remote position with a culture of collaboration, training, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years credentialing or payer enrollment experience in a managed care or provider setting, including experience using a credentialing database preferred
• Specific knowledge of the payer environment and payer issues
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including overtime, and weekends) as necessary
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with credentialing databases (e.g., IntelliCred, E-Vips, Vistar, Cactus, Symed) preferred

Responsibilities

• Document and track credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing/re-enrollment, and hospital privileging activities in the credentialing platform
• Maintain and monitor licenses and certifications to ensure compliance in all regions
• Participate in training sessions and learn new system workflows and updated processes
• Coordinate provider enrollment activities for all groups and providers
• Ensure all facility and provider licenses and certifications are accurate and in good standing
• Complete forms to obtain hospital privileges for physicians as necessary
• Meet deadlines for processing and reporting
• Regularly update Credentialing Supervisor and team on progress
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
