Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator for Managed Care Credentialing to ensure active credentialing and enrollment status with all contracts. The role manages licensure for all providers and coordinates hospital privileging processes as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in credentialing or payer enrollment in managed care, strong customer service and communication skills, and proficiency with credentialing databases. A flexible schedule and collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years credentialing or payer enrollment experience in a managed care or provider setting
• Knowledge of the payer environment and payer issues
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience with credentialing databases (IntelliCred, E-Vips, Vistar, Cactus, Symed)

Responsibilities

• Document and track credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing, and hospital privileging activities
• Maintain licenses and certifications in the credentialing platform to ensure regional compliance
• Participate in training and adoption of updated workflows and processes
• Coordinate provider enrollment activities for all groups and providers
• Ensure licenses and certifications are accurate and in good standing
• Complete forms and documents to obtain hospital privileges when required
• Meet deadlines and report progress to leadership
• Perform other duties as required by management
