Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator for Managed Care Credentialing to ensure active credentialing and enrollment with all contracted payors for all groups and providers. The role includes maintaining licensure, coordinating enrollments, and ensuring timely documentation and reporting.

The position supports a country-wide remote work arrangement, with responsibilities spanning multiple regions and payer environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years credentialing or payer enrollment experience in managed care or provider setting.
• Knowledge of payer environment and issues.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends when needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with credentialing databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document and track credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing, and hospital privileging activities.
• Maintain licenses and certifications in credentialing platform to ensure compliance across regions.
• Participate in training sessions and new system workflows.
• Coordinate provider enrollment activities (initial and re-credentialing).
• Ensure facility and provider licenses/certifications are accurate and in good standing.
• Prepare forms and documents for hospital privileges as needed.
• Meet processing/reporting deadlines consistently.
• Provide updates to Credentialing Supervisor and team.
