Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator for Managed Care Credentialing to ensure active credentialing and enrollment across contracted payors for all groups and providers.

Responsibilities include maintaining licenses, coordinating initial enrollments and re-credentialing, and meeting deadlines. The role requires 3+ years in credentialing, knowledge of payer issues, and strong communication skills. Remote-friendly with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years credentialing or payer enrollment in managed care or provider setting
• Knowledge of payer environment and payer issues
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekends as needed
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team; proficient with Excel and Word
• Healthcare degree or commensurate experience preferred
• Credentialing database experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Document and track credentialing/enrollment, re-credentialing, and hospital privileging activities
• Maintain licenses and certifications in credentialing platform to ensure compliance
• Coordinate provider enrollment for all groups and providers
• Ensure licenses and certifications are accurate and in good standing
• Prepare forms and documents to obtain hospital privileges as needed
• Meet deadlines for processing and reporting
• Provide updates to Credentialing Supervisor on status and progress
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
