Logan Health is seeking a Certified Professional Coder to join its remote team. The candidate will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records, ensuring accurate data abstraction for tracking and reimbursement.

Requires at least one year of coding experience and a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA/CCS/CPC or AAPC). Position offers full-time remote work and competitive pay, with eligibility based on approved state lists.

Formación

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines and practices (required).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• One year of professional coding experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assigns ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records and related billing.
• Abstracts essential data for tracking, reporting, and reimbursement.
• Performs data entry, billing, and collections for assigned client databases.
• Ensures accuracy and regulatory compliance in coding and documentation.
• Verifies patient accounts and coordinates corrections with Patient Access.
• Maintains productivity standards and participates in continuing education.
