Logan Health is seeking an experienced Certified Professional Coder to join our expanding team. This remote role focuses on accurately coding ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 for outpatient records, with accountability for data abstraction, billing, and collections across client databases.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional coding experience and a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC). Strong attention to detail and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC).
• At least 1 year of professional coding experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for various patient types.
• Review records for documentation completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy of charges and compliance with coding guidelines.
• Abstract clinical data and support billing and collections.
