Job summary

Harris Healthcare is seeking a corporate counsel to join our Legal Team. This remote role in the U.S. focuses on healthcare and technology contracts, HIPAA, and data privacy, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy. 4+ years of experience in private practice or in-house is preferred.

The role involves drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements, supporting cross-functional teams, and advising internal clients on regulatory risk in a fast-paced software environment.

Qualifications

• Must have JD Degree and be a member in good standing of a State Bar.
• 4+ years of experience from a well-respected firm or company.
• Knowledge of US healthcare law, including HIPAA, data privacy and security.
• Familiarity with drafting technology/software license agreements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for legal matters for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts for customers and vendors, including license, reseller, service, and technology development agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
