Harris Healthcare is seeking a business-minded Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team. This remote role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy, and supports legal matters for Harris Healthcare units worldwide.

You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial and technology agreements, contribute to template creation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable business growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience from a well-respected firm or company.
• Strong drafting skills and business judgment.
• Experience with technology contracts and software license agreements.
• Knowledge of US healthcare laws including HIPAA.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts for customers and vendors, including license, reseller, service, development, and NDA agreements.
• Lead, from start to finish, structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions according to experience.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Harris' Legal & Compliance Department and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Represent the needs of Harris Healthcare units with customers, vendors and partners; assist with legal matters as assigned.
• Review and identify legal trends and risks in a changing regulatory environment.
• Know-how of US healthcare law, HIPAA, data privacy and security; familiarity with reviewing software licenses.
• Provide clear legal advice and analysis to business units and the Legal team, verbally and in writing.
• Manage a diverse scope of matters and projects simultaneously.
• International contracting experience; GDPR, UK and other privacy laws a plus; medical device regulatory/contracting a plus.
• Familiarity with CCPA and other privacy/breach-notification laws a plus.
