Job summary

Medtronic in the United States is seeking a Coronary Sales District Manager to lead revenue and market share goals across an assigned district. You will develop strategic business plans, build high‑performing teams, and nurture key customer relationships to advance patient care and business performance.

The role is remote within the U.S. territory, travel to accounts is required, and a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 7 years of medical sales experience AND two years of sales leadership.
• Advanced degree with 5 years of medical sales experience AND two years of sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to achieve short and long‑term business objectives.
• Utilize field visits and meetings to drive revenue and market share.
• Train and develop employees in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goals pursuits.
• Coordinate sales efforts
• Communicate corporate, divisional, regional and/or district mission, goals and activities
• Direct and motivate personnel to achieve unit and revenue goals
• Provide ongoing feedback/coaching and regularly schedule performance reviews
• Implement corrective actions when necessary
• Assist employees with individual development plans (IDPs)
• Apply customer focused quality (CFQ) concepts
• Provide overall management of district assets including
• Developing and managing budgets and forecasts
• Ensuring efficient, effective use of inventory and expenses
• Negotiating and resolving price and contract issues
• Coordinate efforts with sales reps and managers of other product lines to diversify and maximize overall Medtronic teamwork results
• Develop ethical, long‑term customer relationships and represent Medtronic management to customers
• Recruit and interview candidates to maintain a strong personnel bench
• Provide feedback of marketing intelligence to sales and marketing management
